One of Nebraska's most popular high school sporting events, the "NSAA High School Wrestling Championships," are broadcast live across the state on NET Television.
Viewers watched all of the action of the annual event, telecast from Omaha's Qwest Center on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 1:30 p.m. CT on NET1 and in high definition on NET-HD.
The four-hour coverage of the wrestling tournament features a special quad-split television broadcast that enables viewers to see simultaneous coverage of matches in all four high school classes in the various weight divisions.
Calling the action for the matches is sportscaster Steve Roth, with former wrestling official and coach Jeff Spain providing color analysis.
The "NSAA High School Wrestling Championships" is webcast live on NET's Web site (netNebraska.org). All that is needed is access to the Internet and a free Windows Media Player program. Webcasting of the series is a free service of NET.
